BEVERLY BOND PR

My branding challenge was to assist in the launching a new PR company in a crowded space. We wanted a brand identity that felt as if it has been here for a decade.  We worked closely with the founder of the agency to develop that identity that not only felt personal, but felt it was a legacy agency.  We built a brand story and website around the founder focusing on her background in fashion.  This gave way to Beverly Bond, “The intersection of brands and relationships”.

ELLSWORTH BEER

I designed the logo and brand around the families aesthetic that owns this micro brew.  I named the beer after the founder’s father’s middle name, which the grandfather despised.  No better Irish tribute than that.  We took this multigenerational family-owned brand and gave it a modern look through using minimal type and  a craftsman color palette to pay tribute to where this beer is brewed.  Taking cues from the artisan food and craft beer industry, I developed a premium minimalistic look that denotes an excellent beer that is worth the journey

KARL HUTTER FINE ART

I worked with Karl Hutter and refreshed his existing brand by updating his logo, website, and creating brand consistency across digital and print platforms.  We used a heavier typeface to convey boldness and strength in the community and the industry.

FULGENT GENETICS

I was challenged with designing not only a sub-brand, but also designing a product that tests your hereditary cancer risk as well as hereditary cardio risks.  We wanted the product to feel actionable but not scary.  We made the site feel approachable with a sense of well-being.

THE PIER HOUSE

Assisted the Venice Restaurant Group in the rebranding of “The Venice Terrace” to “The Pier House”.  I worked closely with Create Hospitality coming up with the logo, brand identity, and “vibe”.  The goal was to create a brand that had a sense of “history” to it.  We used darker and warmer color palette to represent the mystery of the ocean and the comfort of home.

Cartolina

Worked with the Venice Restaurant Group in the rebranding of “Slice of Venice - Pizza” in Venice Beach, California.  The goal was to introduce a new direction for the restaurant by designing around the culture, community, and the legacy of the Italian cuisine.  We used a classic Italian influenced typeface to convey boldness and strength.

Raw 4 Mutts

Collaborated with the founders to design a logo that felt approachable to dog owners.  We wanted something that felt honest and fresh.  We used bolder and thinner typefaces for the logo to give it a sleeker and more minimal look.  The success to the design was working closely with founders that have an amazing passion for an animals well being and physical health.

ETA (Entertainment Tourism Agency)

Pitch Deck  |  Website

I worked closely with the founder of ETA to design multiple pitch decks and a website that told a story on how the agency plans to bring tourists to different countries around the world using entertainment and music festivals. The challenge was to tell the story quickly without giving the recipe to the “secret sauce”.
